Mexican Coatepec coffee is famous for its mild acidity and balance, light bodied character and nutty, chocolate overtones. Coatepec coffee is produced by small Mexican farmers who practice the traditional organic farming. Most of the coffees that stand out in a region are usually grown the organic way. Organic growing of coffee simply means that only natural fertilizers and no man made pesticides and insecticides are introduced in the crop. There are at least three most important factors that affect the quality of coffee. First is the altitude, coffee beans which are harvested on higher altitude are often found to be best than those that are grown in lower altitudes. Second is the climate, coffee beans that are blessed with natural canopies, the tall trees or natural clouding of the area, achieve better and even ripening. And third is the fertile soil. Coffee grown on rich volcanic soil is blessed with distinct taste but is still very much unique from each region. Mexican coffee is classified by the altitude the coffee was grown in. Mexico is now a proud producer of about five million bags of coffee annually. Mexican Coatepec coffee is popularly known for its uncomplicated taste, this coffee is great as a morning coffee.
